Earlier today, iOS 5.0.1 was released. Now, with iOS 5, you can update straight from the iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch. It fixes the battery life issues on iPhone 4S, adds multitasking gestures for the iPad 1. You could get this before the update, but it would require tweaking with your iPad, but now there is no need for that. There are also document-iCloud bugs that were fixed, and Australian voice fixes.

iPhone 4S Battery

Since the iPhone 4S came out, there have been many complaints about the battery life. There are things that are doing this, not just a bad battery. Before we get into that though, let’s see how many people have the iPhone 4S. From a survey done by Joe Wilcox from betanews.com, 58.48% of people said they’re getting the new iPhone. Some will just say, “this is great!” And others will say, “what’s up with this battery???” Well, location services are doing this. By default, there are probably 5 location services wasting battery on your phone. Just turn them off! Now, I leave you with a poll yourself.
